Family Pictures

We had our family pictures taken and couple of weeks ago by a girl in our ward. She did such an incredible job. I'm having a hard time deciding which ones to print because I love them all. But I thought I'd share a few of them.

Random Addie Pictures

I have some of the most random pictures of Addie because she loves to pose for the camera. And some of these poses are a little crazy! She is usually balancing on one foot while trying to look cute for the camera. Here are a few. . .

This is Addie playing the Wii Fit. She likes doing the yoga poses and she's actually pretty good at it. It's hilarious to watch her balance like the tree.

Addis is obsessed with rollers right now. She thinks she looks so beautiful when her hair is curled and she asks for rollers every night.

And of course I had to throw in a picture of my sweet Olivia. She loves her food. What can I say? She takes after her mom! I want to eat my cake like that too.

Catch Up - NC and Michelle

We went down to North Carolina in May to visit family and friends. It was a fast trip but was so fun to see everyone. Addie was in love with visiting some of her friends (Erica and Bryant) and couldn't get enough of her cousins. It was really sweet. Here are a few pictures of our fun.

My niece Michelle came and spent a week with us this month. We had a blast! We went to the beach, bowling, shopping, ate a lot and went to and rented a lot of movies. It was so fun and relaxing. The second we put her on the airplane to go home, Addie told me that she missed her already. She is the perfect teenager - although too bad for her that she's so cute. I am now popular in my neighborhood with all the boys. They all want to know when my niece is coming back to visit. I'm so glad I'm past all that. Michelle - let's make this an annual trip (in Addie's words - whoot whoot!)

Happy Birthday Olivia

My baby is 1. How does this happen? She has been so much fun that the time has flown by like crazy. I have enjoyed every second of my little Olivia. She is such a great baby who is fun with a little fiesty-ness. She's my kind of girl. And I love her beautiful blue eyes. My girls couldn't look more different from each other. I'll have to do another posts of all of her firsts throughout this last year. But I wanted to get a few pictures up. We had a fun party for Olivia yesterday - BBQ, cake and ice cream, a pinata, and 80 degree weather. Does it get any better than this? I don't think so.

A little Oedipus Complex, Anyone?

Okay, so I've mopped myself into a corner and thought that I'd get this story down on the blog so I have it for later. I always think I will remember things and I never do. So Addie is a major daddy's girl (major understatement). This was the conversation that we had the other day.

Addie: Mom, my baby Olivia (her doll) can say mama and dada. Isn't that so good?!
Me: That's great. Who's her mama?
Addie: Well, me.
Me: (now curious): Who's her dada?
Addie: Dad. (sounding as though I should know.) Do you know who her sister is?
Me: No. Who?
Addie: Olivia.
Me: Well then who am I?
Addie: (saying this while laughing and almost falling off of the chair) The Dog.

Hmm. . . should I be a little worried? She cracks me up lately.

Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter! We had a fun easter egg hunt over at Tessa's house (thanks Laura), colored easter eggs, had yummy food and went to our neighbors for dessert. We miss family but love that we have such good friends close by. We also are loving that the weather is warming up a little bit. We're taking every advantage to get outside. The sad thing is that warm to me in Erie is cold and wouldn't leave the house weather in North Carolina. Things definitely have changed. :) But we love where we live and wanted to share a few pictures.

Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium

I know, I know. I am terrible at this whole blog thing. I haven't posted in forever and have several requests for some updates. So here we go. Nick had a couple of days off and while we love our Erie zoo we decided to head down to Pittsburgh on Friday and try out their zoo and aquarium. We had so much fun! So here are a few pictures that we took while we were there. The best part of the trip though was stopping for mexican food at On the Border in Cranberry. We should have taken some pictures there since I was in HEAVEN! I think I gained 10 pounds from that one meal. It was a great trip.
