Our Sweet Little Olivia

We have been so busy since having Olivia that sometimes I forget that I have two kids. Even though she doesn't look like it in this picture, she is such a good content baby that she doesn't help to remind me that she's here either.

She has become so smiley recently and really recognizes her sister Addie. Although I don't know who wouldn't recognize the girl that is literally in your face 24/7 (it really is cute). But she seems to love every second of it. And I love that Addie is happy to be a big sister. She is a great helper.

Grandma Dow

Addie's and Olivia's Grandma Dow came to visit for Nick's graduation. She brought Addie these cute pink scrubs that say "My daddy is Dr. Crosby". I wanted to get a better picture of them but before I did, Addie went outside and got all wet. So when I get a chance, I'll have to take a picture of her in her scrubs and also Olivia has a pink onesie with the same saying. I wonder what Nick would think if we showed up to the hospital with them on.
She also brought Addie her first tea set. Addie can't get enough. She was so happy that Austin liked having tea parties also. We had to switch out the limeade and go for water after a little while.
We had to get a picture of Grandma and Grandpa Dow with the girls. Addie had a blast!

"Doctor, Doctor" (Spies Like Us)

CONGRATULATIONS NICK! WE'RE SO PROUD OF YOU!

Last weekend was Nick's graduation. I can't believe that it's been four years already. I'm sure it was a long four years for Nick but it flew by for me. I am so proud of him. He has worked really hard and is a great doctor. It's kind of disgusting seeing how excited he gets talking about orthopedic surgeries that he's been able to see and be a part. He really believes that he gets to do the coolest "job" in the world. And that makes me really happy.


Addie was so excited to see her dad in his cap and gown. But with the other 100 students graduating, she never could quite see him. She started to get frustrated and no longer thought "daddy's" graduation was fun. This made it so she didn't want to smile for the camera all weekend. She normally is posing and saying cheese but she wanted nothing to do with smiling.

This is Addie by the end of the four days of festivities. This means four days of fun, attention and no naps. Not a good combination. She was ready to be done.

Olivia's Blessing

We blessed Olivia last Sunday, May 18th. Nick's parents were in town so it was fun to be able to do it in our ward here and also to have family visiting. I'll have to take more pictures of Olivia in her blessing dress later. I'm feeling like a neglectful mom to my 2nd child already - I think Addie had a whole photo shoot done in her blessing dress. We were running to Nick's hooding ceremony right after church. Nick did a good job and gave her a nice blessing.
Brad and Jaime and their boys were nice enough to come back for another hour of church after their three hour block. We dragged them to Nick's hooding ceremony afterwards, so these boys were really good sports. We were also glad to have Nick's mom Shauna and his stepdad Randy here.

Grandma Coco

My mom came into town to help me after having Olivia. It was such a whirlwind of a time between selling our house and needing to go and find a house up in Erie. She was a huge lifesaver when we left her here in Winston and went up to Erie. The night we left, Winston had huge thunderstorms along with tornadoes. Luckily, my brother-in-law Brad called to warn my mom that a tornado had just hit 10 miles from our house. It's probably a good thing that we are moving - being from Utah I'm not sure she'd want to come back to visit knowing that tornadoes happen in NC. But Addie loved having her Grandma Coco in town. She quickly dropped the Grandma and just started calling her Coco. Poor Coco - Addie had to know where she was at all times. That's not fun when you're in the bathroom. Thanks Mom for all your help! We loved having you here.
This says it all. Addie loves to hold her sister and help out at all times. Isn't Olivia so lucky to have such a good big sister?! I just hope she survives.
